A corrupted host was identified as the root cause of intermittent request handling failures. Mitigation was performed by replacing the affected host, which resolved the underlying issue and led to an immediate decline in error rates. Due to the accumulated request backlog, full service recovery was achieved approximately 30 minutes after remediation.
